A chair is an item of furniture. It is use to sit and commonly it is only for one person. Now chairs are made of different materials like metal, wood, cane and iron. But the first chair made with wood as man used wood for his different life purposes. In early ages chair was used as sign of dignity and wealth and not as an ordinary use. Until the 16th century chair as not used as for common people! In that time chair covered with different type of cloths and leather. But in 20th century use of chair increased and it seems everywhere. Then different materials start to be used in the construction of chairs. And the price of chairs became low and in the range of common people.
