Senator Waqar Ahmed Khan discusses business, trade, banking and corruption with DI Khan Committee

In a meeting with the DI Khan Comiittee at his residence in Dera Ismail Khan, Senator Waqar Ahmed Khan discussed a range of issues affecting DI Khan, and also made significant headway in progressive talks.

The delegation had called on Senator Waqar on his recent visit to his ancestral city of Dera Ismail Khan. Senator Waqar Ahmed Khan commended the recent banking boom in the city, and he wishes to see several foreign banks like Deutsche Bank and Barclays opening their branches there.

Senator Waqar stressed upon the delegation that as long as corruption holds the city in its grip, progressive change can never come. In order for DI Khan to develop progressively, corruption needs to end. He reiterated the same fact with the delegation from Tank that came to see him later in the day.
