2.  A New Anthology of English Poetry: edited by Prof. Shoaib bin Hassan and Prof. K. Aslam, published by Maktaba-e-Karvan, Katchery Road, Lahore.

3.  A Selection of Short Stories and One-Act Plays: edited by Dr. Nasim Riaz Butt, published by Maktaba e-Karvan, Katchery Road , Lahore .

4.  The Old Man and the Sea : Eornest Hemingway.

N.B.—1. All the prescribed books are for intensive reading.
