BA English Essay:Travelling in Pakistan
Travelling in Pakistan
Pakistan, our motherland is blessed with all types of natural resources, be it hundreds of kilometers of coal reservoirs or the breath taking beauty of Kashmir. The scenic beauty of a country not only makes it a heaven on earth but also supports its economy through increasing the tourist’s turnouts.
The beautiful valleys of Hunza and Kashmir have celestial beauty. Visitors are overwhelmed by the kilometers of lush green lands right in the middle of soaring mountains. But the government of Pakistan did not pay heed to groom country as a tourist attraction until recent years. The traveling in Pakistan became much developed with the founding of ‘ Pakistan tourism development Cooperation’.
PTDC developed an infrastructure of road networks, hotels and cafeterias to promote tourism throughout Pakistan. They have facilitated the tourists visiting the far fledged areas with the construction of world class motels. The efficient highway networks have also cut down the time consumption for travelling and have made the route much safe and protected by highway authorities. They have built pit stops, canteens, toilet facilities and restaurants all along the highway for the convenience of travelers. They organize events such as ‘Swat Mela’ to encourage the tourists to come over and enjoy the beauty of Valleys. The new additions to tourist attractions are the ‘Pir Sohawa’ and ‘National Monument’ designed in the country’s capital.
The number of tourists coming to Pakistan has decreased oddly due to the recent terrorist activities in the country. The pledge of PTDC to enhance tourism in Pakistan is very rewarding in bringing out a soft image of Pakistan as well as to support the country’s declining economy.
