Baqai Medical University

One of the first private medical colleges of Pakistan, Baqai medical university was founded in 1989 in Karachi. It is ranked as number 3 in Medical Institute of Pakistan according to Higher Education Commission Ranking (HEC). In 1992, the Baqai Foundation established the Baqai Dental College, the first of its kind for the huge city of Karachi. A department of Dental Materials was established. All degrees are affiliated from Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC). At first medical degrees were granted from University of Karachi.
