Dengue fever is infectious disease which transmits to humans through bite of mosquito carrying virus of it. Last year more than five thousand people of Pakistan including women and children infected by dengue fever that become epidemic disease. Moreover five hundred of them died due to non availability of platelets required in blood transfusion. Although poor hygiene was a cause of spreading dengue virus but heavy rains also provided the breeding ground for mosquitoes! In future we can decrease the death rate by adopting few countermeasures like sprays in infected areas, by giving proper awareness to people etc.
