Federal Board 10th Class English Essay: My feelings after being selected for the national junior team

I always had a keen interest in sports. I wanted to play sports but the biggest obstacle in this thing was my father as he believed that taking a lot interest in sports will destroy my academic career. I used to play the sports without informing him it and I used to play the sports without his consent.

I used to play football very well, but due to the lack of practice I never made to the team. It was a Sunday evening when my father said that he was going to leave the city for some weeks and I was rejoiced to hear this news. This meant that I would have enough time to practice and I there was a high probability that I might actually
I attended the training sessions and I worked relentlessly on the different things. As the day progressed I felt that I got really well in dodging people and ultimately my skills and work was acknowledged by the entire team. My real breakthrough came when the coach came to me and said that he was thinking of putting me in the national junior team as I used to evince tremendous and outstanding skills.

I was speechless. I know I had been endeavoring for this thing, but I never knew everything would just happen so suddenly. I got happy and then I again got sad. Actually I was in a dilemma. The good thing was that everything I ever dreamt about was just a reality, but at the same time my passion would know be exposed in front of my father.
My father came back home and to everyone’s surprise he was actually excited on the fact that I was selected in the team. At first I was dubious of his behavior and I thought that he was being sarcastic, but he was really happy to me see me in the team. He just requested me to give proper attention to education.
