For how many years is NAT valid?

The validity of the NAT is exam is for 1 year. That means if you take the exam today on 30th October 2012 the exam would be valid till 30th October 2013. If you want to apply to a university after 30th October 2013 you will have to take the exam again as the previous score will not be valid and it will not be recognized by the institute where you aim to take admission.
