GAT General exam Tip no.8: First understand and then practice
Easiest way to fail the GAT General exam is to start practicing without building essential concepts. When I assign students some questions they attempt 11 out 25 and tell me that they have done the test. The 14 questions they miss is not because they do not know the technique on how to solve them, the reason is that they do not know the essential concepts to attempt the question. If you do not know a formula in math you would not be able to solve the questions similarly if you do not know the meaning of a word you would not be able to complete the sentence completion question..
