There are 2 examining bodies which conduct the IELTS exam. The most popular is British council and the other is AEO. Students in Lahore say that it is far easier to get registered through AEO, but I think that different people have different opinion.  There are some people who say that it easier to complete the IELTS registration process from British council.

IELTS registration Lahore British council

You can the IELTS application from the website of British council Lahore or you can also get the IELTS application form from the branch of Standard Chartered bank at Tufail road. You will b required to fill in the form correctly and then pay the fees the IELTS fees in the Standard Chartered Bank’s branch at Tufail road. You are supposed to bring 2 passport size pictures without glasses, copy of CNIC or passport and the IELTS application form. The staff at the Tufail road branch is cordial and they might also check your IELTS application form for mistakes. You will get a confirmation e-mail within a couple of days.

IELTS registration Lahore AEO

You will have to get the IELTS application form from the AEO office in Lahore. The AEO staff will also help you fill in the IELTS application form. You can also download the IELTS application form from the official website of AEO. You will have to arrange a bank draft of Rs 15,000 and it would be payable to AEO Pakistan. You will have to submit 2 passport pictures, copy of Passport, IELTS application and bank draft to the AEO office in Lahore. You will get the confirmation e-mail within the next couple of days. If you do not get the e-mail you may contact the AEO office in Lahore. You may visit the AEO Lahore office at 24-E Zaman Park.
