ADOPTION
It is actually to avail something which is beneficial or preference of someone. It could be of tangible or intangible materials.
When we talk about a particular path, camera, etc. these are tangible adoptions for the particular activity. And when we talk about the tactics, ideas, habits, etc. these are the intangible adoptions. Other than these, there are also some adoptions which are inheritedly transferred to the person, upon which they don’t have conscious control to accept or reject.
So it is such an activity that involves conscious and unconscious intensions to avail something.
