Quantity Surveyor

Quantity surveyor is basically a calculator to collect the material. Quantity surveyor work is building and road material calculation. I am a quantity surveyor my responsibility is building all material I mean earth bricks sand crush and steel etc. calculation how many /how much require for this building. I calculate rate of analysis. How many require cost required for this project .My third responsibility is supervision of building and take measurements work on progress .Reason of take measurement I check quantity is equal with my calculation.

In the road work first of all check drawing same Building work .After read the drawing then calculate estimate of work. I mean cutting filling excavation earth work sub grade base material stone dust and top layer material water rate of analysis. How many require cost for this project and what is profit on this project. Supervision of project and this a responsibility of a quantity in a company.
