Sindh Madrassat ul Islam University
After about 125 years of its establishment by Hassan Ali Effend in 1885, the Sindh madrassat ul islam was elevated to the university status in 2012. The madrassa initially began its journey as a university in the same historical and magnificent main campus located in the city of Karachi. There were initially 6 faculties offering different programs to the aspirants. The government has allotted 100 acres land in the suburbs of city for the expansion of university. The city campus is also equipped with modern laboratories, computer labs and communication systems.
