Pakistanis are mad about English. If we see someone speaking English, we automatically believe that the person speaking English is a very intelligent person. As a matter of fact knowing English has nothing to do with your intelligence. Unfortunately, your fellow Pakistanis do not think in a similar way and people are given jobs on the basis of their English skills, so it has become important for the people learn good English so that they get better jobs and get admission in good universities of Pakistan.
All those people who know English in Pakistan have been able to understand this language over the years. They might not agree with the above statement because they want other people to think that they knew the language without any effort.
So now you should stop being nervous and worried because everyone has to go through this process in his or her life. Some people go through this process in the early years of their life and other people go through this process in the later years of their life. The good part is that you have at least taken the initiative to learn English.
