Winner of NA-126 Lahore Election Result 2013 (PTI)

When I went to the polling station at 8:00 am on 11th I knew who was going to win. I definitely knew who was going to win. People were voting for change. As I was passing the houses I could see families standing outside of their houses chanting “Pakistan Zindabad”. The only thing I could associate with Pakistan Zindabad is PTI. As I saw all those people I felt as I knew them, I wanted to share my feelings with them, I wanted to tell them how much I love Pakistana and how much I love PTI, but then I decided not to as those people were strangers and most of them were girls and women.

I proceeded to the polling station. I waited in the polling station for 1 hour and everyone wanted change. There was a kind of burden on my heart. I had never felt this burden before. Casting a vote was like a moral obligation on me. The moment I casted the vote, I was relieved from the burden. I had finally played my role in the building of Naya Pakistan.

As the results started coming up I was surpised to see that PTI was not winning and finally the results came out which showed that PTI had won very few seats in Punjab. There are people who are disappointed, but I am not. This is the first time I have realized how much I like PTI and Imran Khan. We have made the mark. Today I have become a PTI member. Before this I was justing supporting it because I liked Imran Khan. Now it is my responsibility to support PTI. It is everyone’s responsibility to make to hope for this Naya Pakistan.

We are the change, and we have emerged.
